We are carrying out this project together with CO2 Revolution and Anefa, two companies that combine important values for Springfield, such as innovation and collaboration.
CO2 Revolution combines, on the one hand, manual planting through mechanized methods and direct seeding with people at risk of social exclusion, and on the other, the use of a drone system with advanced software and navigation system that determines where and how to throw the seeds
Anefa involves volunteers and educational entities in the affected area in reforestation, using a manual system that allows for more localized planting.

FOR OUR PLANET
The 90,000 trees planted since 2020 will allow us to offset approximately 14,400 tons of CO2, thanks to the planting of 115 hectares with native species, helping to recover not only a forest but the entire ecosystem.

Our first projects took place in the municipality of Caleruega, province of Burgos, and in the mountains of Cededo-Cotovade, province of Pontevedra, in Spain;and Varandas do Tejo in the municipality of Gavião in Portugal.This season, our goal is to plant 20,000 more trees in Spain, thus reaching a total of 110,000 trees planted.
